12 --	Status of IMLS paperwork, per John Awakuni:
         >It is being reviewed and processed for signature
         >by the Director of ORS. It will then be sent to
         >IMLS with the documents they requested. I expect
         >that we should have a signed executed contract

        in use of microfilm scanner to: LIS interns,

        hardware (won't scan from lower transparency tray but

        position (start date April 10th)
6 --	Cancellation notice for Metadata workshop received from OCLC
8-9 --	Determined Agfa scanner will not work on another micro;
        contacted Tech Support to obtain replacement/return
        defective unit
9-19 --	Official "dispute" regarding cancelled travel arrangements
        ensues
15 --	Sun server received (last piece of equipment) and unpacked
16 --	Sun server software install & setup begins;
        second Grad student hired for Digitizing Project Student 
        Assistant position (start dateJune 1st) 
19 --	Replacement Agfa scanner received (works perfectly)
27 --	Sun vendor makes onsite support call and determines that
        install problems due to incorrect graphics card shipped in unit
