Chieko Tachihata Compiles The Written Record of Hawai'i's Women

Image of Chieko Tachihata

Compiled by Chieko Tachihata and Agnes Conrad, the second edition of The Written Record of Hawaii's Women: An Annotated Guide to Sources of Information in Hawaii was published in 2001.

The Foundation for Hawaii Women's History is the sponsor of the second edition of the annotated bibliography as well as the earlier 1984 edition with the same title.

The Foundation, incorporated in 1983, hopes that this updated bibliography will further increase the awareness of the many resources on women in Hawaii, and encourage the reading and study of the subject.

About Chieko Tachihata

Dr. Chieko Tachihata is Hawaiian Curator Emeritus and Agnes Conrad is State Archivist Emeritus.
