The group agreed that meeting two times per year is enough. If, however, a need arises for more meetings, or an emergency meeting, then they will be scheduled at that time.
After some discussion, the group decided that $3 per request for articles exceeding 20 pages was reasonable. DeeDee does not believe that the Library Council need be involved in the decision, since the ISL Policy as it stands provides for a $3 fee per article.
DeeDee will update the documents on webct with the administrative password that RuthMarie provided. RuthMarie will move these existing documents to the new webct soon and provide the administrative password for that as well. DeeDee will contact UH Manoa's web librarian about putting the ISL meeting minutes up on public web space. She will provide a link to the ISL group when she has done so.
DeeDee provided the list of the Ariel addresses she obtained from everyone and tested. Attached is a list of contacts that includes these addresses. DeeDee asks that everyone check it for accuracy and let her know if there are changes that need to be made, especially since she no longer has the latest revision (PC meltdown!). There remain 3 sites who have not yet set up their Ariel. All sites who do have Ariel set up will send test 3+ - page documents to each other next week. On Friday, the 27th, each site will also send out confirmation emails that they in fact received the documents.
DeeDee gave the group a heads up that by Fall semester the departmental libraries at UH Manoa will include their holdings on Voyager. They have also expressed interest in the ISL service.
Thursday, August 19, 11:30-1:30. UH Manoa, exact location TBA. This meeting will once again coincide with the Voyager Circ meeting.
