| Beluzhkin, Ivan Fedorovich was born Nov. 10, 1872 in village Chaadaevo in Vladimir district. Worked in CER station Khailar as a railway shop. Abandoned his wife and in 1910 on ship Korea he came to Hawaii with Matrenna Cheltykhova. Here was born a son. For a short time he worked on a plantation and a diary farm on Maui. After that for 5 months wandered. In June 1911 he needed a cure at the Oahu Insane Asylum. The company where he worked wanted to send him to Russia, but his wife refused. His wife was common law marriage with Dubrovin and they had two children. She was very sick with stomach ulcer. When Vice Consul Trautshold asked the first husband in the crazy hospital, he noted: Russian emigration in Hawaii didn't want to leave here a poor friend in a foreign country and asked him to send him to Vladivsotok with the funds of Russ consul. The doctor said it was okay for his health when friends look out for him. |
