Belousov, Zakharii Stepanovich, born in 1890 (?) in Irkutsk district. Served in 3d Horseguards Zaamurskii regiment in Kuaechentsy (CER) station, where he deserted after 3 yrs. In 1912 under another name Antonovo (Vas'ka Nos) he arrived to Hawaii. Worked in Honolulu in the dry docks and on sugar plantations on the Big Island and Molokai. On Maui in Napili he rented ($5 an acre per yr) 4 acres of land, where he grew vegetables--cabbage and beans. In his free time he worked on another plantation. He didn't send his picture to the Russian Consulate, so they did not forward his application. Trautshold noted: "no real desire to go home probably."
