| Anashkina Fekla Efimovna was born in 1895. Peasant from village Chernishevka in Primor'ye district. With husband Mikhail Anashkin she came to Hawaii where he abandoned her. General consul noted: "Among Russian emigrant witnesses at the time she worked independently and was a good worker but a bit foolish. From Dec. 1, 1913 she stay in the Oahu Insane Asylum at Honolulu where she was hard working and in the opinion of the doctors they thought she may return to her relatives in Ussuri district. Dr. Mikels [Michaels?] noted that her condition was recognized as 'imbecility'." When Trautshold was been in Maui he want met with M. Anashkin who lived in Lahaina, Maui and worked at the Pioneer Mill Co. But he refused give information about his former wife. Trautshold noted: "Emigrants will take care of her and take her to her parents at Nicolsk near Vladivostok." ----------- Anashkin Mikhail [photo clipped to Dept of Labor paper and written in pencil]--arrived on the S.S. Mongolia from Harbin to Kobe Dec. 24, 1911, and then came to Honolulu Jan. 6, 1912. Age 31. Born in Vladivostok. |
