Geroim (Geroi) Edmund Kazimirovich. Polish, born Oct. 7, 1890 at the station Novobelitsa Libavo-Romenskaia railway. His occupation on the railway was assistant engine-driver. In Harbin he worked in the office of the Main Workshop of the CER. In 1910 on the ship Mongolia he came to Hawaii and lived in Honolulu where he worked at the Honolulu Iron Works. After that moved to Maui and settled in Lahaina where he was a brakeman at Puunene, a fireman at Kahului, and a ranch cowboy. Here he married with Ordasheva, but soon he "abandoned" her. He worked as an assistant mechanic for $1 a day plus bonus in the Lahaina Pioneer Mill Co. On the eve of the meeting with Trautshold he was in a fight with another machinist. On Oct. 18, 1917 he gave request for repatriation with the purpose "to fulfill a debt to the motherland and serve in the military." He was known as Edward Geroy.
