Glushchenko Ivan Ivanovich. Born Sept. 9, 1878 in Ekaterinoslavskaia gubernnia. In Harbin he worked as a drayman. In 1909 on the first voyage of the ship Siberia he came to Hawaii and worked on the islands of Maui, Oahu (Honolulu) and Kauai. When he met with Trautshold he was working with horses ($26 wk) on the sugar plantation of Paia on Maui. Name of his wife was Ustin'ia Savel'evna b. 1879 and 4 children: from 6 mos. to 7 yrs. who were born in Hawaii. Top of Page
