| Gorbaten'kii Ivan IAkovlevich. Born Jan. 5, 1885 in the village of Sobkovtsy Volynsk guberniia. In 1910 he came to Hawaii with another name Bakharev. Lived on the Big Island and rented land in Paahau, near Hamakua and was a homesteader. Former owner was his father-in-law Topekha, who had returned to Russia. Name of wife was Natal'ia Pavlovna, b. 1897, with two sons. In the beginning of 1918 he abandoned the land and moved to Honolulu where he waited to return to Russia. |
