Deriabin Timofei Aleksandrovich. Born in 1884 in the village of Nechaevka Simbirsk guberniia. Served in a military band on the CER railway station Khan'daokhukhtsy. After he finished the service he lived in Vladivostok, but soon moved to Shanghai. In 1911 on the ship Mongolia he came to Hawaii, where he worked in Honolulu in a stone quarry ($3.50 a day).
