| Bobkov, Fedor Ivanoivch, born Feb. 17, 1879 in the village of Gorodishche-IUshkovo in
Moscow guberniia. He worked in Chita as a railway shop. In 1910 on the ship Korea he with his family to Hawaii. In Honolulu he worked as a carpenter in the dry docks for $4.50. He wanted to take his sick wife Mariia Maksimovna , who was born 1880, to hospital in Russia. But before leaving he changed his mind and left in June 1918 to Seattle with his daughter Catherine. He sent his wife to a rest-home on 9th Ave. in Palolo. He died Jan. 1919. His brother S. I. Bobkov helped the widow and daughter (S. I.'s cousin) who had quickly returned to Honolulu. |
