| Burilov Andrei Stpanovich was born Oct. 12, 1879 in the village Shumkii Perm guberniia. Former senior non-commissioned officer Life Guards of the Moscow Regiment. He worked in the coal industry near station Bor'zia of Zabaikal rr. In 1910 on ship Siberia came to Hawaii. Worked on Maui and Big Island and in the city of Hilo. Sugar plantations, sugar mills, and road builder. Moved to Honolulu and worked as painter when Fort Shafter was being built. Lived common law Evlampiia Shulepova. Before leaving for Russia he changed his mind, and took Nick, the oldest son of Evlampiia, and went to California and found new work. To Trautshold he said: Until life in Russia becomes better he would not return home. In Feb. 1918 the whole family joined him. |
