| Boiko Kirill Ivanoivch born in March 1884 in the Ukraine. Peasant-resettler in the village Nevskai of Iman uezda in Primor'ye district. He worked in the Ussuri railway. In 1910 on
the ship Siberia, he came to Hawaii--maybe the reason to leave Russia was that his wife
was pregnant. Wife was Akulina Grigor'evna, who was only 14 yrs. In Hawaii they had 5
children. He worked for one yr. on a sugar plantation on the Big Island. Returned to Honolulu where he worked in the dry docks ($3 a day). |
