"Named Buildings"
This site contains brief biographical records and related images for each of the personalities honored by having a building or architectural feature named after them on the campus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. It was created in order to contribute to the UH Centennial Celebration, and provide guidance for visitors to the campus. Some of the data is borrowed from Victor Kobayashi's book BUILDING A RAINBOW, published by Hui O Students, UHM, in 1983. The starred names are those of former UH Presidents -- a list of all of them is published in the catalog.Related links include the campus Art Tour site and the campus Walking Tour Guide.
