The pages viewed from this site are all GIF Image Files (not text files).
Therefore they may print differently than the way they look on the screen
depending on the browser used to view the images and the type of printer
to which you are printing. There are several options you may try if you wish to
print what you see. They are:
1) Print from BROWSER Directly
Note: Monitor size may affect amount and size of text which appears on each printed page; there are no options for changing what prints on each page (in Netscape 2.x or 3.x)
2) Save viewed page as GIF file
On MAC with NETSCAPE: Save as SOURCE
On Windows (Netscape3.x): "Save as"
Requires separate Graphics program that recognizes GIF format
to open, manipulate & print file after saving.
3) Insert image file into WORD6.x
Requires use of a Graphics CONVERTER program to translate GIF file to usable format (*.HGL, *.CGM, or *.PCX if Windows; PICT if Mac) before using the Insert Picture function.
4) Insert into Word97
WINDOWS ONLY: Works fine - must have Windows95 and Word97
5) Acrobat Reader
Requires a PDF version of the image file to be created and
available. PDF conversion is planned for story files; problematic and
extremely difficult for full newspaper pages.
